MCOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina are over-regulated, is there a room for the legal frame improvements?
The first conference of Association of microcredit institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AMFI), took place in Sarajevo on November 19, 2019.
Within the frame of the conference, four panels were organized. One of them was the panel: “Regulatory frameworks – development perspectives and usage of new technologies”.
Mr. Mirzet Ribic, CEO of Fundament LLC and a panelist, facilitated a discussion on legal and regulatory environment for MCOS in B&H.
“What can the Authorities do to relax such a complex environment where MCOs has to follow 2 entities’ laws, 22 bylaws, 14 other laws and 40 other bylaws?” It was a main question of the conference.
